Kaitlin Balfe

Kaitlin Balfe is the Video Editor and Videographer for both The Yankee Farm Wife and Locket's Meadow Farm Sanctuary. She is a graduate of The School of Film and Media at SUNY Purchase College, and a long time lover of animals. She came to Locket's Meadow almost two years ago, and has since become completely obsessed with all of the animals, so much so that she now acts as a Barn Manager of sorts. 

Kaitlin has a long history of activism and speaking loudly for what she believes to be right. In elementary school, she earned the nickname "Garbage Girl," because she'd spend recesses picking up litter around the school yard. Also in elementary school, her and some friends protested the building of a parking lot on half of their recess field, and were threatened to be suspended. They paved the kickball paradise and put up a parking lot... She also worked hard volunteering on media teams in 2020 during the election with local politicians, and on the national scale as well to ensure the eviction of 45. 

Kathleen and Kaitlin have known one another for years, and are utterly shocked every day at the success of YFW, and the community we've built with Meemaw's Unite. 

She looks forward to continuing to put her Bachelor's to use and grow this channel and their impact! 

Graphic Designer - Meemaw's Unite

Liz comes from a long line of artists and craftsmen, and continues the tradition in her own life. She worked for many years as a graphic designer and also has exhibited her art in shows and galleries, winning a number of awards.
She is the proud mom of three wonderful daughters and meemaw of two amazing granddaughters.

Liz is excited to join Meemaws Unite to help "Put a Woman in Charge!"
